Adults can come and enjoy coffee and conversation. We discuss a different topic each month and feature many special presentations. This month's topic is Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presented by local DAR member Barb Rossi. DAR is a lineage-based membership service organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the U.S. efforts towards independence. These women are dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism and honoring the patriots of the Revolutionary War. Also, Benjamin Gordon with ComEd will talk about the new Smart Meters that have been installed throughout the Coal City area.
